WELCOME TO ETHIOPIA GASHUA TRAVEL
My name is Gashaw Assefa, I was born in the historic town of Lalibela. Attended high school in Lalibela and studied business administration at Unity University in 2000. I have a degree in travel guidance and am a member of the "Lalibela Tour Association".
I have been working for 8 years as a tour operator and tour guide in Ethiopia.
I love Ethiopia and the people. Throughout my career, I encountered the breathtaking landscapes of Ethiopia, endemic wildlife and biodiversity, diverse cultural heritage and many timeless historic sites.

The 11-renowned rock hewn churches of Lalibela, also known as the “8th wonder of the world”. The Lalibela rock hewn churches are carved around 1250 as monoliths from the surrounding rock formation.
